Here's a toast to the "Mother of Madison," Rosaline Peck; frontierswoman and owner of Madison's first public house. Our gold lager is brewed in true European style using only the finest imported Czech Saaz hops and lagered for a minimum of thirty days. Enjoy this old-world classic as you never have before - fresh at the source!

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

Clear and golden with light lacing from the thin white head. Sweet-floral fragrances that seem out of place in a German Pils. Mouthfeel is creamy but introduces a soapy texture and flavor to the beer, along with light fruit. Mildly bitter hops throughout the finish. Unusual beer for the style.

Pours light golden body with a small white head. Grainy texture, smell of bread or dough. Mouthfeel is soft with a noticeable creaminess. Initial taste is light and fruity finishes long with a tight hop finish.
