A straw-colored classic that originated in the great brewing region of Bohemia. The crisp, herbal palate from noble hops, and the soft, creamy malt character of German barley are an irresistable combination.

Started my visit to the brewpub on a really nice note with this beer. Body is straw yellow in color, clear with a frothy 1" bright white cap. Aroma is fruity, lightly herbaceous, with a nice hop character. Flavor is minimally sweet, grassy hops, with a bready sweetness. Incredibly sessionable.

i agree with the crisp, herbal palate in the brewer's description, but the nose was almost non-existant, and the beer was a bit boring. an ok interpreatation, nothing more or less.
