Weird metallic notes in the finish. Herbal hoppiness. Thin watery body. Alright for a lawnmower beer if your desperate. try Lagunitas Pils and I’m sure you will enjoy that more.

This is a perfectly made *and* perfectly boring beer.
Very basic and average, across the board. There isn't a lot about this beer that I dislike, but, at the same time, there isn't much that excites me, either. I take exception to this beer being called a Pilsener, since it has about as much in common with Czech Pilseners as Bud, but even if you view this beer as a more generic Pale Lager, it really does nothing to make want to kick up my heels. Adequate for the hot and steamy days that we've been having here in SoCal, but even that isn't saying much.

This brew pours with a deep golden body topped by a medium thick white head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet slightly bitter with bready notes and a slight fruitiness, however the aroma is rather weak. The flavor is slightly sweet and fruity to start but soon turns grassy, hoppy and bitter. Slight piney notes creep up in the finish. This brewery may have consistency issues, this is the second bottle of this I've had, the first was yeasty and reminded me of more of a hefeweizen. Light bodied, relatively smooth and dry.
