    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Nicely unfiltered amber colour with smaller particles, golden highlights, a light-beige head, decent retention and leaving lots of foamy lacing. At first, getting some mild Bourbon notes in the nose, then some peaty notes, and with time - the caramel and dark fruits of the Barleywine come out. Very smooth, silky mouthfeel with a slight warming-bitter, drying finish. The flavours are well-blended together with nothing really sticking out. Not too smokey, not to sweet with the Bourbon and the dark fruits, caramel malts. This makes this Barleywine very drinkable, with a nice blend for Whiskey or Bourbon drinkers.
