Cabernet and bourbon barrel aged Nikolai Vorlauf Imperial Russian Stout with cherries and cocao nibs. This beer starts off as Nikolai Vorlauf, our thick bodied Imperial Russian Stout made with oats and lactose and is complimented by plenty of complex chocolate, coffee, and caramel undertones. We then age it in Cabernet barrels and Bourbon barrels for months, and blend the beer back together along with real cherries and rich cacao nibs. The resulting Stout is both luscious and bold, and clocks in at 12% ABV (but with this sweet and sultry body you would never know).
