Pours a very small coating of foamy head and has an amber coppery appearance. Aromas of bready and caramel malts. Flavours are strong sweet and caramel malts, alcohol is subtle and not too offensive. Has a little bit of smokiness in the finish. Oily mouthfeel with a drying sensation on the palate but much more in the finish. Quite enjoyable.

The beer pours a translucent copper colour with a light tan coloured bubbly head, and plenty of effervescence. The aroma was caramel, citrus, and biscuit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is smoked wood, caramel sweetness, and bitter hops. Another stellar vintage effort from the Fuller's people.
