Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout enhances the floral character of the Centennial hops with the inclusion of rose buds - lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. The brew has a rich, dark appearance, and strong chocolate and cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

Pours a nice big frothy tan head and has a fairly dark brown appearance. Some sticky lacing remains. Aromas of roasted malts, some notes of chocolate and subtle coffee hints. Flavours of chocolate, cocoa, a little bit of vanilla and lots of toasty malts. Quite sweet. Alcohol is a bit noticeable but definitely not offensive at all. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Quite a delicious brew.

Opaque very dark brown colour pour. Beige head dissipates to a very thin cap. Slicks the glass but leaves no lacing. Great full flavour and aroma. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark fruit, licorice, smoke and oak with a slightly bitter finish. Oily full bodied mouthfeel. I think I'll have one of these for desert after Christmas dinner.

The beer pours a solid dark brown with black edges and a huge fluffy light tan coloured head. The aroma is coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and dark fruit. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, and chicoree. A well balanced, but still complex beer.
