NorCal tasting Feb 07 - A pretty awful barleywine for sure. An aroma of rotting vegetables and sulphur. Appearance was nice with a deep copper color, minimal white head. Mouthfeel was too thin, watery and lacking any real feel. Flavor, like the nose, was vegetative, too sweet with a sharp tang of something infected. Pretty bad.
