Roasty, chocolate tones swirled with oatmeal smoothness and dark as the night. The Dark Star crashes, pouring its light into ashes, so follow as the Lady of Velvet recedes in the nights of goodbye. This one is too smooth … and at 8.0% ABV, dangerous. Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Crystal, Carafa, and Chocolate malts with Flaked Oats and Magnum and Willamette hops. ABV: 8.0% IBU: 50

Pours deep coffee with a thick and lasting cocoa head. Aroma brings roast malt, coffee and oaty notes. Flavor produces roast malt, oaty, quality coffee, a little hop bitterness and a hint of semi-sweet chocolate. Texture contributes decent body and perky fizz. Dark is this star.

22 oz bottle. Pours black with a hige creamy tan head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet fudgy chocolate malt with a little roast.

The flavor is sweet chocolate malt and some coffee with a chalky roast finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice amped up oatmeal stout.
