The coveted La Muerta, sacrificing its own glory and subject to conditioning in a freshly-emptied bourbon barrel in order to emerge in a new form. The rich smoke, roast and chocolate flavors of the original supplemented by characters of oak, vanilla and bourbon. Bottles highly recommended for aging, but are still excellent for those who can’t wait.

rating 2000!! ..and what a beer to do it with! .. on Tap! .. Amazing, instead of the regular La Muerta, Freetail puts on the barrelled version.. Pours out a jet black, with low foam .. has a nice touch of whiskey, lots of dark chocolate and sweet dark burnt wood .. . smooth! i drank about 4 of these over the course of the 10 hours i was at Freetail and it was pure bliss! .. very delicious and i wish i had bottles of it .. an honor to try.. .. When I'm driving here I see a sign that says, CAUTION: SMALL CHILDREN PLAYING. I slow down, and then it occurs to me: I'm not afraid of small children.
