From a growler picked up for me by Dansting. Has a very nice aroma of an earthy flavor, with a nice whiskey malt note as well. This is a wonderful beer with a just enough whiskey flavor to let you know that you are drinking scottish ale. It has the slightest alcohol finish which is actually a pleasant way to end another well made brew from the guys at Free State. Though I can't imagine anything replacing John Brown as my favorote Free State beer...this is now a very close second place.
