An immense, bold, black as night, American stout beauty; Cavatica is no dry Irish anything, one sip and you’ll surely take notice of what you’re drinking. The name honors this brewer’s affinity with arachnia. Be forewarned, this beer will stain your clothes. This is Fort George’s house stout that has gained a reputation for being mighty and contagious among the locals.

Thanks to slowrunner for this - pretty awesome 16oz can pours deep black with an attractive walnut colored head. Chocolate and licorice on the nose with a creamy mouthfeel and nary a hint of the ABV. Notes of brownie batter, cocoa, and roasty malts all meld together to make a fine stout. The fact that this is canned is badass. I enjoyed this greatly.

Like a suped up export style stout. Big roast and chocolate in the aroma and flavor, with hints of dark fruit, licorice, and coffee. Didn't know this was an imperial, so i didn't expect it to be so big (and with little hint of 8.5% alcohol). One of my favorites of Canfest.
