This is a huge stout brewed in the Imperial Stout style. It uses 8 malts including many that lend to its dark color and bold roasted chocolate flavor. Hopping is assertive to balance the malty profile. The yeast used for fermentation is an authentic English strain. The ABV is 7.7% and calculated bitterness is 80 BU's, or bitterness units. This is a delicious winter desert beer we serve in late winter.
