Buster Barrel Aged Golden Ale is the more mature sibling of one of our favourite releases, Big Ear, Little Ear. Brewed almost two years ago, this beer has been bottle conditioned after ageing in white wine barrels for more than 18 months. It’s soft and bright, with a slightly spicy, slightly funky finish.

Big gush coming out of bottle, even though not moved for a year. Hazed, golden colour with a fizzy head that dissipates quickly, leaving a little foam on top of the brew. Big sour aromas, with vinegar and mild fruitiness, honey. The taste shows the funky-sourness with the fruit notes. Kind of tired of these sour beers, especially when they explode at opening.
