A little hotter on the nose and palate than both the 2013 Java and High West varieties. I'm not a big an of Maker's, but I don't dislike it either. This had a surprising depth of flavor and would have been just as good as the High West if it weren't for the heat. Big chcolate and barrel notes, amd some good roast throughout.
