I'd give this a four-and-a-quarter if I could. Never had high west bourbon, but if this beer is any indication it's not too shabby. Very well integrated barrel...not hot til near room temp, and even then only in the nose. Chocolatey as usual, with ample bourbon, raisins, vanilla and coffee notes. The body is slightly fuller and smoother than some of the thinner in this line.
