As the prices continue to climb on these already expensive brews, they may just be reaching the limit of my personal cost-benefit analyses. The best of last years (Grand Cru, Iced, Elijah Craig 20) were worth it, hands down. The rest are very good, but not world beaters. This one was $25 at the brewery! Anywho...never had Rebel Yell. I'm told it's not the best bourbon. While this isn't my favorite Eclipse, the barreling is pretty nice. Loads of chocolate and coffee and roasted malt. Warmth, not heat, from the barrels with an additional sweetness. Not as complex as some, but very very tasty.
