Better looking than the 18 year with a thick foamy head and good lacing. Not as complex though, but still brought a good mix of hearty stout, barrel influence, and some minor fruitiness. Full bodied and chewy.

Definite and noticeable drop-off from the EC 18/20 year version, but still a great beer, if a bit overpriced. Sweet, with a touch of hops at the end. I've always really liked the base beer, and probably would like, but not love, this bourbon.
