A huge malty beer. This beer is fall weather warmer for sure! Hops are subdued in this style. A nutty slightly roasty finish is the hallmark. Brewed in the traditional Strong Scotch style.

Pours clear copper with a nice ivory head. Aroma delivers roast malt, toffee, smoky and caramel tones. Flavor features roast malt, peat, caramel and toffee tones. Texture offers good body and peppy fizz. Be fearless, be strong.

I never even heard of this place before, but it was at a Scottish Ale fest I went to yesterday. This one had a lighter color than most of the other scottish ales at the event, but it had a nice head. Everything else about it was pretty average, although it hid the 8% pretty well. Roasty and malty.

Dark brown,, almost mahogany ale, small tan head , that ges very fast , leaving good laceing. Very little carbonation present. Very malty aroma, slightly roasty in character.Nice on a cold day. The taste again is on style full of lovelly maltiness, and warming alcohol, the alcohol is detectable but it actually lends something to the beer , rather than detracts. Its not quite as sweet as sme Scotch ales, but still in style. Very nice stuff. Good mouthful, like a good Scotch the mouthfeel is not thick, but nice and smooth. Very good drinkability for one so strong.
