Patterned after the rich, smooth, malty ales of Scotland, Stone’s Throw is dominated by caramel toffee, toasty malt, hints of cocoa, residual honey sweetness and just enough hops to keep this rock on the button. The perfect brew for someone new to craft beer. Cheers, skip!

A weak caramel gold color, transparent, and topped by a large rocky off-white cap. The aroma is light grains, toasted nuts, with hints of caramel and citrus. Mouthfeel is average. Taste is heavy on the caramel and toasted malt side. It definitely ‘tastes’ darker than it looks.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Pours barely translucent caramel with a thick and frothy beige head. Aroma yields roast malt, earthy, subtle spicy and chocolate notes, plus just a hint of fruit - and some hops? Flavor delivers roast malt, more sweet pomme and tropical fruit, more chocolate, earthy, toffee and and subtle woody hops. Texture offers fair, smooth body and perky fizz. Just a stone's throw from beer happiness.
