L'ingannevole apparenza.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

330 ml capped bottle, lot 034/11. Poured in the original Extraomnes snifter an unfiltered opaque orange-brown coloured Tripel with half a finger beige foamy head that had a short retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is quite rich, caramel malts, fruity, apples, pears, peaches, figs, cherries, some biscuits, spicy, orange peels, some biscuits. The flavour is mid-sweety malts, yeast, fruity, apples, oranges, spicy, orange peels, peppery, coriander, ginger, some herbal notes and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is fizzy and light syrupy. This medium to full bodied Tripel has a long spicy and hoppy bitter finish. Altough not so heavy, this is a very pleasant Tripel, very tasting, without forgetting the warming effect. I like it.
