You know story, a dull-looking guy - he is dry, maybe a tad overweight and let’s face it, not very charming. But somehow he hooks up with a piquant, profound, and very attractive girl. She finds him oh so down to earth, loyal and cute, and even though it’s such an odd paradox, they make a very interesting and charismatic couple.

In the wide world of sours, just below average. But...I love the style, as the score indicates. Starts off ALL vinegar. Kind of overpowering the aroma especially, but it mellows as it opens, and develops a nice complexity, with vinegar, lemons, dry funk, fruitiness and sweetish malt. Not bad, but overpriced and a one timer for me.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 6.2%. Dark brown to ruby colour, moderate beige head. Sourish aroma of vinegar, oak and brettanomyces. Thin body. Sour, lemony and vinegary flavour. Not my cup of tea.
