A golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some citrus, pepper, and herbal notes. The flavor is somewhat sour with a strong spice presence. Light bodied and refreshing. Overall a good beer. Funky funky.

Have a towel nearby, because this one is a fizzer. Pours a hazy, barely translucent honey golden with a thick and rather persistent eggshell head. Malty aroma has a strong fruity overtone that delivers notes of banana, pear and - mango? Papaya? Something tropical. Flavor has the same zingy fruit notes, plus the jazzy pepper tone that the recipe promises. The pepper is strong enough to notice, but does not overwhelm or dominate the palate. A little pepper peppereth the whole batch. Texture is fairly firm, smooth yet lively and fizzy. Get peppy with pepper.
