Nothing common here, just great beer! “Commonly” consumed in California’s early gold rush days when those old wood kegs would literally burst from the pressure of the beer, leading to the nickname Steam Beer. Super Nova is ruby-gold, with a refreshingly smooth sweetness that’s complimented by an All-American crisp hop finish. Malts: 2-Row, Crystal Hops: Columbus, Tettnanger, Cluster Yeast: Lager at ale temperature Original Gravity: 13.8 IBUs: 30 Alcohol: ~6% abv Availability: May - July Available on Draft Only

sampler at lazlos. nice light body and gold in color. good head and great lacing. sweet malty aroma and a touch of hops as I move my nose away. slightly hoppy taste and maybe a touch too dry on the aftertaste.

Sampled at Lazlo's. Clear amber in color with a nice white head. Strong lacing. Aroma was nice and hoppy. This had a bitter flavor too it, altough not that strong, and a bit of hoppiness to it. A good California Common, but nothing outstanding.
