The Belgian Dubbel style is a beer that I have always wanted to brew, and now is the time! The warm, brownish color of the Dubbel gives you a hint about what a treat you're in for. The aroma abounds with mysterious spice and fruity esters produced by a special Belgian yeast strain. Flavors are complex and satisfying. Dark Belgian candi sugar not only gives this beer its color but aslo adds a distinguished sweetness. The use of Special B malt produces a rich raisin-like flavor that intertwines with the spice and candy characteristics to provide you with a drinking experience that will be hard to beat.
