Pours a VERY foamy dark tan head. Lots of bubbles. Dark brown color in body, nearly black with zero light passing through it. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of malts and grains. Perhaps even a little bready? Tastes great (and I doubt its less filling!!). Lots of roasted malts in the flavor, but not bitter or grainy to the taste. . Bitterness on the palate in the aftertaste, but not overwhelmingly bitter. Too bad this beer isn’t available here in California.
