Pronounced "Cœllsh" (pronounce the "ö" like a French "œ" as in bœuf). This beer style is an appellation from the City of Cologne. One of the palest German beers made, this ale has a slight fruit flavour from the German yeast that is used in fermentation, slight Nobel hop presence and a clean finish. http://www.duggansbrewery.com/Beer.html

This was my least favourite of the Duggan's Brewery beers. A cloudy pissy yellow colour with a thin white cap on top. The aroma was sweet malt, grass, and funk. The taste was bland with a soft sweetness giving way to a non-descript finish.

I tried this beer on June 8, 2010 at 'Duggan's Brewery' in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was hazy golden yellow colour, similar to lemonade. There was a thich white head. The aroma was grains, sweet malt, and a weak hop sense. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet grains with a slightly bitter finish.
