We took an imperial cream ale and amped it up with the addition of coffee. Whole beans are soaked in the beer for days, giving this toffee-heavy beer a kick of roasty coffee aromas and flavors.

A deep mahogany colored beer with a small soapy textured, off white head rising above. There is little hang time in the head. A thin ringlet is left. A faint note of coffee in the nose. In the tasting, caramel dominates with light notes of coffee. The body is light-medium.
