Douglas Celtic Brown is a real Scottish ale, rude as its country of origin, mysterious as the legends and as generous as the inhabitants.

clear bright ruby-brown colour, giant foamy head, beautiful lacing, earthy, strong notes of chocolate, some dark fruits and nuts, very sweet and malty, oily with a decent bitterness, long warming alcohol finish showing notes of prune and licorice - I can’t help but like it !

Nice looking deep amber/chestnut colour, with creamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma has chocolate, caramel and dark fruits. Now, I like that (live tasting in progress)! Very rich, substantial body; malt, chocolate, caramel, sweet, nice bitter finish. Excellent.
