first beer i’ve had from this Carson City brewer, and it was a pleasant surprise. there were aspects of it that were subpar - mainly that it more resembled the flavoe profile of an imperial porter than a stout, but either way, it was done well. big roasted and malted chocolate aroma and flavor, with some hops coming through just at the end. on the light side for an imperial stout, but drinks big and is very tasty.
