http://www.dogfish.com//brews-spirits/the-brews/occasionals/beer-to-drink-music-to/index.htm Music has been a part of Dogfish Head since before Dogfish Head. So it’s a natural fit for a brewery that makes ‘Analog Beer for the Digital Age’ to be the Official Beer of Record Store Day, a celebration of the unique culture of record stores and the special role they play in their communities. Of course, as the Official Beer of Record Store Day, we had to create a special brew for the occasion! Insert Beer To Drink Music To. This Belgian-style Tripel is brewed with sweet orange peel, green cardamom, peppercorns and vanilla. It’s the perfect marriage of beer and music and best when paired with some of your favorite tunes. Clocking in at 9% ABV, Beer To Drink Music To is a golden orange brew with forward notes of toffee, cardamom, cloves and subtle notes of vanilla.

Pours clear amber with a thick, persistent pale buff head. Aroma delivers coriander, vanilla, malty, spicy, and subtle fruity notes. Flavor presents more in the way of spices and vanilla, though cardamom continues to be the lead player. A hint of banana pops up. Texture has decent body and fizz, and leaves a spicy and fruity finish. Enjoy with or without music.

A clear golden-copper colored beer with a small sudsy textured off white head that rises briefly above. A moderate ringlet is left. Spicy nose, cloves, coriander. Bananas, spices in the tasting. High octane sensation. But smooth and drinkable.
