Pours a deep, opaque, midnight-black, with a dense milk chocolate colored head. Brewed with a large percentage of roasted and chocolate malts, this huge beer is then aged in red wine oak barrels for added depth and complexity. Flavors are reminiscent of dark fruits, chocolate and sandalwood, making Prince Myshkin’s Stout perfect for dessert, or a dangerously smooth nightcap. Just in time to keep you warm on a cold winter night!

Nice change of pace from the bourbon barreled stouts. Slight astringency and fruitiness from the oak. Subtely blends with loads of chocolate, roasted (maybe a hint of burn't) malt, and coffee. Smooth and easy drinking for a beer of it's size.
