Ruby red brown with a thin skiff floating on top. Yum yum yum aroma. Medical cherry, spice, dark oak, sweet heavy plumb, vanilla, and mild hints of pennies. This aroma is exactly what I was craving tonight. So much CHERRY in the nose. Taste is good but not as massive as the aroma. Bitter wood, more medical cherry, earth, more stuff. Soft mouth feel with tingly carbonation. The 10.5% is noticeable but is balanced perfect with the body of the beer. The bitter is really coming to the front of the flavour now. This is exactly what I look for in a B-Wine, thick flavour, sweet with a bitter edge, cheery, and a oaky malt. Perfect for me it is but there are better out there. SPICE! This beer hit the spot.

deep fruits, caramel, plum. little hop presence. masks the abv quite well. low carbonation, and a bit thick, making it a decent sipper. i liked it, bit wasn't blown away, though another friend thought it was the best of the night.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. "Best before" date: The Day of Judgement! ABV is 10.5%. Deep copper to brown colour, big beige head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of raisins and dark dried fruits, oak, fortified wine, caramel and brown sugar. The flavour is very sweet and vinous, with basically the same elements as in the aroma. Moderate hops in the finish. Good, but sweet enough to make one small glass enough for one sitting. The 500 ml bottle is for sharing!

Bottle: Poured a clear deep copper color ale with an average size off-white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of cookie dough with some light dry fruits. Taste is also dominated by cookie dough with some dry figs and minimal residual sugar. Body is about average with good carbonation and no alcohol was apparent. A bit too much cookie dough in the mix for my taste and lacking some character though still enjoyable.

Pours out in a deep reddish amber colour with fluffy disappearing off-white foam. Loads id spices in the aroma with dense malts underneath. Hints of ginger, mint, white pepper and alcohol with sweet undertones of caramel and dried fruits. Full-bodied with notes of caramel, earth, wood, nut-shells, pepper and alcohol. Fudge and caramel in the dense long finish with strong bitter peppery earthy notes.
