This imperial stout is very robust and opaque black with a high alcohol content. The extremely rich malty flavor and aroma are balanced with assertive hopping and fruity-ester characteristics. Bitterness is high and balanced with full sweet malt character. Roasted malt astringency and bitterness can be moderately perceived but are not overwhelming to the overall character. Hop aroma is high with hop-floral, -citrus or -herbal characteristics.
