Hazy dark yellow / orange with slowly dissapearing redish foam head. Aroma is string, barley and alcohol. Taste is strong alcohol dominated, also ver bitter. Good longlasting bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201210)

I was pretty excited when I saw a b-wine on tap at De Prael in Amsterdam a month ago. Even though it was a 9.6% it came across a little weak and not quite as flavorful as I would have liked it. Either way, great beer that matches the cloudy, reddish image youd expect. Little hotness, but caramel was week and fruit was low.

Shared bottle at local tasting, thanks to abemorsten. ABV is 9.6%. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy, low white head. Moderate spicy aroma. Unusual and complex flavour of various spices, also some woody notes. Interesting.

Cloudy dark golden with a rich lively white foma. Vegetal and biscuity yeasty aroma with notes of Seville oranges. Full, sweet and quite boozy flavour of dried oranges, mild spices, white bread and straw. Full-bodied Long and rather sweet finish of oranges, paint and marzipan.

Hazy orange colour with mediumsized off-white head, leaves some lace. Aroma is spices, yeast and some fruity hops. Flavour is spices, yeast, some caramel malts and a warming touch of alcohol, which comes through especially when the beer gets warm. This is not a bad thing with this beer though, as the alcohol fits the flavour quite well, when the malty- and yeastyness stays long in the aftertaste.
