Pours clear yellow with a thick, though not long-lasting, eggshell head. Aroma features subtle but tempting fruity, fresh malt and wheaty tones, maybe a pinch of yeast. Flavor well exceeds expectations, delivering not just fresh malt and pomme but also wheat, rye, resiny hops, and touches of citrus and butterscotch. Mouthfeel delivers firm, smooth body and some lively fizz. Time to cue Edgar Winters' famous instrumental.
