Beer has been brewed in the tiny village of Cropton, on the very edge of Cropton Forest since 1613. Imperial Stout is our homage to the dark full bodied beers of our European neighbors. It's dark depths conceal a hidden robustness whilst maintaining the smooth drinking of a traditional stout. This stout, combines dark roasted barley with Herkules and Riwaka hops.

Pours out in an opaque black colour with a creamy sissapearing tan-coloured head. Rich and rounded aroma of roasted malts, almonds, figs, raisins, cocoa-powder and chocolate. Medium to full-bodied with notes of roasted malts butter, almonds and nuts. Long yet subdued finish of roasted malts, almonds, sweet licorice and prunes. A quite a elegant and smooth take on the style.
