Experience a sweetly floral to herbal aromatic bouquet and an elegant yeasty flavor with a sustained mouth-feel that develops complexity on the palate. Naturally fermented with Belgian Trappist yeasts using a premium apple juice blend, not from concentrate, with no added malt, spirit or grape alcohol. The Saint’s artisanal Cloudy Filtration style uses racked unfiltered apple wine smoothed with pure organic maple syrup, a touch of apple juice, no added sugar, colorants or sorbate or benzoate preservatives, and is filtered cold for bold, crisp refreshment.

Pours a pineapple juice body, no visible carbonation or head. The aroma brings sharp unripened apples, not sweet on the nose, but more of a fermented apple vibe. The flavor brings sweet apples dominating over some Belgian yeast notes. The sweet apples are pleasant at first, then after swallowing there are very delicate notes of maple on the tongue.

Sampled on 5/7/2011. This cider pours a slightly hazy medium to light gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is crisp apples, semi-sweet with a touch of maple syrup and brown sugar. A light to medium bodied cider. The apple flavor is semi-sweet and crisp. Touch of yeast, especially from the stuff at the bottom of the bottle. Nice lively carbonation. Light and refreshing, clean and crisp. The apple flavors intensifies and the maple syrup flavor come out a little more as it warms. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

nice cider here. we started with the honey crisp, which was nice n simple, with nice being the key word. the yeastiness and slight maple syrup sweetness added to the flavor, body and complexity while still showcasing the slightly tart apples. well done. looks like a weak wit beer though.

IT's been a while since I've found a cider that I enjoyed as much as this one. Fantastic! Pours a clear amber, pretty fizzy, dancing about on the tongue and all. Nice fruit all the way through, pear, apple and such. Sweet lingering finish with nice grassy summertime notes. Check this one out y'all, you'll dig it!

Quite a musky smell is first to hit you... pours a thick dark pear juice, fizzy white head on the pour that disappears before you can even get a good beer shot .. . tried both ways- poured into a pint glass and over ice.. . in the pint the musk really comes out, like rotting apple, sesame, and pear-- alot of sesame oil like flavours actually.. ... over ice, much nicer, very refreshing and just a fun summer sipper .. . the yeast has made this one a little weird but i love ciders and experimentation like this is always welcomed!.. . . I believe it was a Boaking Accident..
