A rare and amazing pleasure. An American cider masterpiece combining a blend of 4 unique apple-wines: fermented with Belgian Trappist ale yeast; Irish Stout yeast; wild-fermentation heirloom cider-apple wine & Colfax classic apple-wine: all aged in Tennessee Whiskey barrels. Finished with unfiltered Gravenstein apple-juice aged in the same casks. Crispin’s Limited Release Number 5 Blend.

really enjoy the moderate whiskey notes in an apple cider/wine. a little alcohol showsa in this, but really that's the only fault. otherwise, sweet & tart apply-delicious goodness. One of the better ciders I've had...

Dark Orange, with light wisps of white foam .. . lots of bourbon, sugar, plum, apple, bark, more bourbon, and honey - carries into the mouth, but more murky apple and bourbon .. . a really interesting take on an alcoholic beverage, and something i would like to have again! .. .
