Raspberry Moon is a vibrant blend of modern, fruit forward hops: Wakatu, Mandarina Bavaria, and Huell Melon. The unique, fruity esters from the Kveik yeast perfectly complement the sweet, flavourful raspberries in this refreshing Fruit Sour IPA. A delightful balance of fruit and hops with enticing flavours of raspberry sorbet, tart berry and melon. Tasting Notes: Tart berry, cherry, melon, raspberry sorbet Pairings: Thai curry, glazed pork, cheesecake, chocolate

The beer pours a slightly hazed dark pink with a very short lived off-white head. The aroma is light grains, cereal malt, tart raspberries, and funky yeast. The mouthfeel is puckeringly sour, light bodied, and slightly above average carbonation. The flavour is tart raspberries, grains, and a weak bitter finish. It os labeled as a fruit sour IPA………..definitely a fruit sour, definitely not an IPA -

Pours a pinkish-amber colour with a fizzy bubbly off-white cap that had average retention and very light lace. Berry nose with hints of cherries. Eventually the hops show up. The mouthfeel pucks up some sourness and mild tart stays on the tongue. Raspberry flavours with lots of sourness and the end feels quite thin. A decent sour fruity beer, but lacking the IPA side of things.
