The beer pours a beautiful translucent cherry red with a creamy snow white cap which doesn’t leave a lot of lacing, but sticks around a while. The aroma is tart fruit, grains, yeast, and citrus. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is tart fruit (doesn’t really say ‘pomegranate to me’), and grains. Certainly more sour than bitter, but good for what it is. -

Clean red colour with a light-pink head, average stay and hardly any lace. Nice berry nose with some Belgian Ale sugar sweetness, and yeast. The flavours are between light sourness and tarty yeast. All really soft, with the pomegranate in the background. A light, fruity sour beer that is fine for a hot summer day.

The beer pours a dark murky golden pink colour that will remind you of grapefruit juice, or at least it did with me. Aromatically, they have hidden the honeysuckle quite well, but the pomegranate and cherry notes jump out. The flavour is all about the fruit though. The grainy malt notes and the yeasty notes are all overwhelmed by the fruit. So....not a bad beer at all.
