This is a special edition of Cowbell's ALMANAC 2019 Imperial Stout Belgian Quad – the beer specially brewed to celebrate our second year of life at the Cowbell Farm. After Almanac 2019 was fermented, most rested cool in our special black Anniversary Fermenter – undisturbed until its release on our second anniversary. A small portion of that beer was pulled from the tank, then laid to rest in Kentucky Rye Whiskey Barrels for seven months. We invite you to enjoy this lucious, bottle-conditioned 11.3% Rye Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, with flavours of chocolate, charred oak, espresso, caramel, rye spice and vanilla to savour and enjoy. This beer may be enjoyed immediately, or matured in your cellar for up to ten years (upright, cool, and away from light). Best enjoyed in a chalice or snifter, and always with friends.
