A musky amber colored beer. There's a smll creamy textured, white head that rises briefly above. It settles into a thick soapy ringlet with touches of faint soap aside the glass. A bready malt that is not overly sweet and lots of grassy hops are in the nose as they are on the tongue. There's a thirst quenching bitterness in the tasting. Medium to full bodied. I really liked this one.

It pours a dark golden with a thick white head and some lacing. An aroma of bitterness, sweet malts, light hops, citrus, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and quite rich. Flavors of sweet malts, hops, bitterness, lemon-citrus, and some spiciness. Great-tasting, although it could use more zing..

Cask. Slightly hazy golden colour with mediumsized slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma is malts, hops and quite much earth along with some fruityness. Flavour is strong fruits, some earth and grass.

Cask conditioned at The Lord Rosebery, Scarborough. Served at correct cellar temperature. Golden colour, low head. Moderate aroma, nothing stands out. Thin, sourish and watery initial mouthfeel. Tolerably hoppy flavour. Pleasant hoppy aftertaste.

Clear amber with a small white head. Dryish and somewhat chemical aroma of red berries, grass, light roasted malts with mild notes of citric and hayish hops. Dryish and once again chemical flavour of cedarwood, swimmingpool and tart red berries. Not very harmonious. Light-bodied. Salty finish of oranges and nuts.
