A dark Belgian style ale, from the tap. Poured a rich dark mahogany with a thick lasting tan head and foamy lacing. Heavy aroma of sugary plums, raspberries, and raisins. An earthy yeast scent is present as well as a hint of light coffee. Medium bodied with a gentle sweetness, this is extremely well balanced. Flavor is bursting with handfuls of dark fruits and candy sugars. A good combination of toasted nuts, brown sugar, figs and cereal compliment the other sweet flavors. This is a top notch Belgian Ale from the Cleveland area.
