Pretty uninspiring beer in every phase. Not that’s it’s bad...rather it reeks of mediocrity. The aroma has a light malt roast character, light sweet malts and little else. The appearance was really beautiful, with a clear, deep medium brown color with a slight reddish coloring to it with a strong 2-finger thick creamy cap. Flavor has a uncharacteristic hop flavor, combined with the soft roasted malts makes for something unexpected in a scotch ale. Not nearly malt forward enough, with something left behind. Finishes with a stale bready character that just didn’t sit well. Had to share this bomber, because there was no way I was going to drink two pints of this.

MMMMM a very nice beer from Coast Range. Pours very cloudy and bubbly with a thin lacey head. Mouthfeel is super smooth. Very nice thick scottish malts with select hops. Would certainly purchase agian.

Dark copper colour, small beige head. Sweet caramellish malty aroma. Sweet alcoholic malty and caramellish flavour. Also some wooden hints there. Quite smoothly made brew.

Dark orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is malt, peat and smoke. A medium bodied scotch ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, touch of smoke and peat. Slightly bitter hops. Nice balance. Nice smoky flavors, they kind of hang around at the edges of the taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet
