Strong, smoky aroma has spicy, caramel, woody, hoppy, and subtle molasses notes. Pours a deep, warm sable with a thick and rather fine-bubbled dark tan head. Scrumptious flavor delights with an armada of flavors: caramel, woody hops, chocolate, molasses, roast coffee, burnt malt. Each sip seems a little different. Texture is smooth and firm, leaving a woody, malty and smoky finish. Reserve a bottle or a mugful today.

Jet black in color. A big frothy textured, brown headrises robustly above. There's some hang time on the head. It settles into a nice steady film and thick foamy ringlet. The profile on this one is cocoa, roasted malt and dark fruits like figs and plums. Medium bodied and creamy. I'll be working this one into the evening.
