Rated in Nov. 2009. On tap at Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel, FL. Pours very dark with dark mocha bumpy lumpy lace clinging head. The aroma is full of dark roasted coffee, dark roasted malts, some burnt malts, chocolate, a touch of vanilla and chocolate malt balls. The taste begins silky smooth and with a bit dark chocolate velvety qualities bleeding into burnt malts and dark roasted coffee. Midway soft notes of oak, vanilla and a hint of sweet dark berries takes this to the finish as well as offering up lingering chocolate, coffee and burnt malt notes going days into the after taste.
