SeaBass has never looked so good as this tap pour right here at the Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel, FL pouring deep murky-muddy-bogginess, very SeaBass, with nice tan head and some sheet lacing. It has a nice fruity nose with cherry, raspberry (and modestly moldy citrus as it warms) and then moving into tart wild yeastiness. The taste is a bit more tart than the nose led on with a pleasing initial pulse of berry juice sweetness that gets mowed over by yeasty tartness that tries to move into funky goodness but doesn’t really get going. By midway berry and apple notes surge forward only to be beaten down by this beer’s yeasty tart SeaBass essence. It dries out into the finish. This is a mouth full of tart-witty and full up very-funny-guys SeaBass-y tartness. I think a bit of cellar time will round this out nicely. I think I may lay SeaBass down for a while.

750 ml bottle, from Høkeren, Copenhagen. Dark brown hazy colour, low off-white head. Funky aroma, some malts too. Funky flavour, medium sour. The carbonation "grows in your mouth".

Bottled@Man In the Moon, Stockholm. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wood, tart berries and some nice sweetness balancing it up. Flavour is sour wood, some tartness, mild acidicness as well as some malts, mild syrup. A very pleasantly balanced farmhouse ale!
