    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9

Rated in Sept. 2012. Courtesy of an amazing savant brewer at Cigar City! Love it! This is an ass kicking experience. It pours very dark mahogany with a mocha looking head of foam. The aroma is ‘mother of god, hide the children’ good with a rich inviting mix of dark roasted earthy coffee beans, molasses and dark roasted malts as well as spicy black strap molasses and a hot melted box of chocolate malt balls. The taste is no different. I get huge smooth rich sweet notes of dark roasted oily coffee notes sweetened up by malts and molasses and bringing up lesser notes of dark roasted malts that toy with a light and playful level of burnt malts. To midway the rich oily dark roasted coffee notes are seemingly joined by some chocolate as it head into the finish. Holy SHIT-storm this is haboob goodness. Thanks Ben! I owe you BIG!
