Rated in Feb. 2011. On tap at CCB pouring up light dirty mahogany with tan head. The aroma offers up brown sugar notes, prunes, raisins, sweet fig-y earthiness and spices. The taste has bright yeasty spiciness followed quickly by dates, prunes, raisins, a touch of drying roasted malts and more spiciness. Into the finish it dries up with lingering dark fruity sweetness and spices.
